  One month into the season and four matches played, three league games and one round of the WRU Bowl, resulting in two wins and two loses. Not a very good start, you may think, but when you consider that the teams we have played in those games are three of the top teams from last season then things look a bit different. Treherbert, Caerau Ely and Llantwit Major were all vying for promotion at the end of last season whilst we were down the other end so not too bad really. The two wins came from a league win away to Caerau Ely and a home Bowl tie against Treherbert with loses in the league against Llantwit Major, when we were reduced to fourteen men for the second half, and Treherbert. 

                Next up is an away game at Ynysowen, who are the team above us in the league, before we travel to Pentyrch for the second round of the Bowl competition. Hopefully, with a fully fit team, we can get the win at Ynysowen to set us up for the Bowl game.
