Every week the Club will be organising a draw, all weekly winners being announced via the club’s social media channels.
The Tote Lottery is open to both members & non-members.
Club Tote Lottery Rules and Instructions.
1. The TRFC tote lottery club will operate in accordance with The Gambling Act 2005.
2. The TRFC Weekly tote lottery is promoted by the TRFC.
3. Participation in the TRFC weekly tote lottery is open to any person over the age of 18 years.
4. Participants wishing to join the TFRC weekly tote lottery club must pay to enter. You are required to select four numbers between 1 and 24, No number can be selected more than once.
5. By participating in the TRFC tote lottery, participants acknowledge and agree that their personal data may be processed and retained for the purpose of administering the TRFC lottery.
6. Participants may join the tote lottery at any time.
7. The cost of each entry is £1. Players may purchase more than one entry. There is no maximum number of lottery entries any one person may purchase.
8. The lottery draw will be made by use of a random number generator programmed to include all lottery numbers. The draw will take place in the presence of at least two Committee members or nominated delegates each Week.
9. Winning tote lottery numbers will be published on the TRFC Social Media & Lottery Board in the bar.
10. The aim is to match the winning numbers. Any entry matching 4 numbers will win the jackpot prize. In the event that there are multiple winners in any week then they shall share equally in the relevant prize.
11. All winners will be contacted by or on behalf of the TRFC Treasurer who confirms the amount of prize money won and account details into which the money is to be paid. Winnings will be paid by bank transfer into the account number provided by the winner to the TRFC Treasurer.
12. Once we have a jackpot winner, we start over again with the jackpot prize reverting to the original starting point.
13. If after reasonable efforts, a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into TRFC funds after six months.
14. 25 % of the lottery income will be allocated as prize money.
15. These rules and prize allocation will be reviewed weekly by the TRFC Club Committee.
Any recommendation to amend or add to these rules will require prior consent from the TRFC Management committee.
16. The lottery club will be run by the TRFC Management Committee. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Committee is final.
